Technology Overview:
Nonatec(TM) is the smallest bio-compatible and read/write passive RFID transponder in the world (1mm x 5 mm). With its companion Blue Tooth enabled RFID readers and PC based Software applications, Nonatec offers unique Track and Trace, identification and counterfeit solutions.

Current State:
MedNest is currently developing the business of Nonatec in the Medical Technology field. After a detailed segmentation of the opportunities, MedNest is now building technology partnerships with major manufacturers of implantable medical device.
Nonatec provides an elegant solution to the fore coming UIN FDA mandate and offers personalized (read/write through the skin) clinical follow up solutions for implantable devices or high end Life Science personalized Diagnostics.

| Smartinhaler
Technology Overview:
Smartinhaler(TM) devices monitor and report patients' medication usage to their healthcare partners (care giver, parent, payer), and are used in pharmaceutical clinical trials and respiratory disease management applications for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, asthma and cystic fibrosis. SmartinhalerLive(TM) uses wireless communications technology to provide real time data collection and reporting from drug delivery devices.

MedNest has segmented and profiled the market and clinical opportunities for SmartInhaler in the US. Following this "calibration" phase, the segment of Respiratory Clinical Research has been targeted (Value proposition creation, Partnership search) to establish Commercial and Technology Partnerships.

- FDA 510k in progress, planned by Q1 2009
- Looking for financial and clinical partners to run an economic trial and demonstrate outcomes and ROI in the pediatric field.

Technology Overview:
Biomod 3S™is a medical device for computer-aided therapeutic decision allowing a relevant 3D analysis of spinal deviations, using images obtained from any standard radiological set up.

I-DENTI-FIED
Technology Overview:
I-DENTI-FIED (TM) leverages the Nonatec(TM) technology to offer a micro RFID Unique Identification Device for Dentures. Because dentures are personalized devices by nature, the unique Identification Number provided by the denture can be used to ID patients and look up patient data into PHR ( Personalized Health Record) databases, either on an emergency or routine set up.

MedNest has established a phased business plan consistent with a phased regulatory roadmap and coached I-DENTI-FIED in the preparation and submission of a regulatory dossier to FDA. This strategy accelerated I-DENTI-FIED time to market by 6+ months

Technology Overview:
Perio Protect is a revolutionary new method to treat most periodontal disease (also known as gum disease, gingivitis or periodontitis) using an FDA-cleared medical device to deliver dentist-prescribed medications directly to the source of the infection.

MedNest has established the strategic global expansion roadmap to bring Perio Protect to a prioritized list of targeted countries in a phased way. All the critical dimensions ranging from regulatory approvals, market readiness, clinical adoption, pricing and potential business models (direct/agent/distributor) have been studied.
Current State:
Following our recommendation, Perio Protect is consolidating it's business in the US to create a strong platform for international expansion.

Technology Overview:
Activa innovates in the dietary supplement industry by translating well establish pharmaceutical formulation technologies (control release coating and micro-beads) to dry and calibrated dry extracts formulations. As a result, fast release (immediate gratification) and lower quantities of extracts (once a day intakes) can be achieve. Activa offers a full range of Health Condition oriented formulations, ranging from sleep support to weight loss.

MedNest Deliverables:
MedNest has calibrated the value proposition of Activa for the US markets, in particular for the Naturopathic Doctors. Following the "calibration" phase, MedNest has established the value proposition for the targeted segment and presented the opportunity to the major players in the Clinically proven Dietary Supplement manufacturers, resulting in several MOUs for Commercial and Technology Partnerships.
